The board lives on your PC, so a dropped connection doesn’t stop the day
MG Jobs is a Windows desktop app. The office keeps booking, scheduling and invoicing when the internet is down, because the jobs are stored on the computer in front of you. On Starter and Pro, Midnight Grid Cloud syncs the office and the technicians’ phones and backs everything up; when the connection comes back, sync picks up where it left off.
Free Offline needs no account and no card, and you can export every job, customer and invoice in readable files on any plan.

Switching from Workiz
MG Jobs imports customer and invoice lists exported as CSV. It recognises QuickBooks, Jobber, Housecall Pro and ServiceTitan column names; for other exports you may need to rename a few column headers first. Start on Free Offline, bring your customer list across, and try a week of jobs before you pay for anything.
Where MG Jobs may not fit
The office needs a Windows PC; there is no Mac or web version of the office app. Technicians use their phones on Starter and Pro. The Owner Companion phone app is still coming.
