Timed visual transcript
The video opens on the problem: one service company surrounded by a pile of disconnected tools. The message frames fragmented software as extra work rather than help.
A dark MG Jobs dashboard replaces the tool pile. Summary cards and a daily schedule bring jobs, timing, and the team's immediate workload into one view.
The view shifts to field execution. A technician-facing job screen keeps the customer request, assignment, status, and work details together for the person doing the job.
The quote workflow appears. Estimate information is shown as part of the same operating system rather than a separate quoting tool.
Money, parts, and reporting views follow. The sequence connects completed work to invoices, payment visibility, ordered parts, and business performance.
The separate pieces collapse into one MG Jobs workflow. The visual message is one app carrying the job from the first request through completion.
The MG Jobs name and final call to action fill the screen, closing the walkthrough.

From download to first job
The 31-second MG Jobs setup video on the home page. It shows the real first-run setup in the MG Jobs Windows app, filled in with a fictional company (Northside Plumbing), owner (Sam Ortiz) and customer (Alex Morgan).
Audio
No spoken narration. Upbeat electronic instrumental music plays throughout. Soft interface sounds accompany the on-screen actions: whooshes as steps change, mouse clicks, keyboard typing and soft ticks. A heavy bell-like impact marks the closing title, and the music fades out at the end.

Heading “01 Pick Free Offline. Everything stays on this computer.” An MG Jobs window shows the setup screen “Welcome — let’s set up MG Jobs”, step 1 of 5, Operating mode. It offers two choices: Free Offline (everything stays on this computer, no account, no internet, nothing to buy) and Activate MidnightGrid (redeem the signed license from a purchase email for hosted backups, the customer portal and team devices). The pointer selects Free Offline and clicks Continue.
Heading “02 Name your shop. Your trade sets your services, parts and checklists.” Step 2 of 5, Your company. “Northside Plumbing” is typed as the company name, and the trade list changes from Garage doors to Plumbing. Tax and currency fields are also visible.
Heading “03 Your sign-in. It replaces the factory logins completely.” Step 3 of 5, Your sign-in, notes that the factory logins are removed when setup finishes. The username “sam”, the name “Sam Ortiz” and a hidden password are filled in.
Heading “04 Set up my shop. Activate MidnightGrid later, from Settings.” Step 5 of 5, Ready, summarizes what will be created: company Northside Plumbing, trade Plumbing, owner sign-in sam, starter parts yes, sample jobs no.
